    8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With ‘the Lord’ [ha-YHWH: the-Name, Word and Works, of Israel’s ‘Elohiym] a day ‘IS LIKE’ ‘a thousand years’ (a very long period of time), and ‘a thousand years’ (a very long period of time) ‘IS LIKE’ a day.”

    In 2 Peter above the writer tells us that a Creators’ day is “as with” “an example of” a very long period of time NOT a specific period of time, paraphrasing, “1000 human years ‘is like’ 1 day to ‘Elohiym”. That we then can begin to apply a practical rather than mystical approach to better understand our pasts; to connect with an original Bible narrative. In this paradigm, A CREATOR ‘WORK DAY’, CAN then eqully be defined in BILLIONS OF YEARS – A VERY LONG PERIOD OF TIME.
    I would argue a missing link to a paradigm born of men, one which claimed science and religion could never see eye to eye; I disagree.
    A very long period of time, what the Bible presents as a Creator work day, and how Genesis 1, which speaks to the creation – from darkness to light, where nothing existed (the great expansion /a big bang?), can now lend itself to scientific observation; an agreeable outcome between the Bible and science: And so on, day 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, each long periods of creation, adding weight to ancient Biblical writings.

    Sadly, to the she-grin of many.

    A warning to humanity. We must seek truth, not walk blindly, that our offspring can move in truth. The goal? that we not pit physical observation against the highest wisdom i the universe – but embrace both to a brighter and more fulfilling outcome for us all. “The truth WILL set you free.” (John 8:32) :)

  7. The video topic today? Sun worship (SUN-day?) – December 25th (Christmas?) – Osiris (A pagan deity), by D: Was the SUN-day – a day of SUN worship? Was the birth of the Jewish Messiah adopted from end of year solstice / SUN feasts? Questions that should bring us to the obvious. If Messiah’s birth date is not in the Bible, why then December 25th? A shift to the pagan? Lets show some fact finding on these topics. Paraphrasing the Hebrew Messiah? “Seek that you may find” !!!!! Your decisions will prove your truth, either one with YHWH or the world. Please choose wisely!

    Conclusion

    We must slow down with our Bible readings, pausing to see what the body of evidence says; history, amongst one of the tools, to free ourselves from the doctrines of men: The reason this website exists, a platform to those ends.
    Here we learn how Israel once again had fallen to external cultural norms, customs and practices outside the tenants of Hebrew teachings; that of the Greek (the Hellenization of Israel). What ensues – we see today, with mystical – even pagan practices that act to obscure the original /practical Biblical narrative.
    But there exists a remedy, unbiased sources – such as the attached video, and whatever else we can glean throughout the body of Biblical research; which include archaeology and culture.
    We must, “seek that you (we) may find”, said YH’shua!

    Solution

    It’s simple, verify first. Pause in your reading to verify and correct what may seem mystical, what I call, “messages from the periphery of Israel” – such as seen in the presentation attached. Foreign concepts that are assimilated from Greek and other culture, the things we know existed in the world /culture around the Biblical Israel.

    Our goal?

    That the Bible’s original message be revealed in our Bible readings, eventually in our lives.
    To separate out what does not belong!

    A Note to the Wise

    Soon enough, technology that unlocks the internet will be in the hands – if not already – of every human being on the planet. Given this, there will be no excuse for not seeking, the knowledge is right at our fingertips – the Internet. A calling to seek, as Messiah taught. A voyage to a destination called salvation, according to the Bible prophets, not the opinions of external voices.

    May it be so in YH’shua’s example – who spoke truth to the matter, an effort to save his people from their error; the consecrated one (Messiah – in Hebrew) that taught truth over man-made doctrine. Stand firm on finding and sharing truth. Shalom friends.
