Hebrews 12:5-7
King James Version (KJV)
“5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord (YHWH – the Word of Elohim), nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord (YHWH – the Word of Elohim) loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God (Elohim) dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?”
In essence, when we (the obedient child of YH) are not of the world, it clashes with us!!!!
Elohim says His Word proves to be in enmity with the world, as such all those who follow him so too are seen as the enemy of the world…. Therein, a Father’s Will (Word) that acts to chastise His true followers (His children), for certainly to be set-apart (on the path to sure salvation) is not a wide and easy path, that the world may know we and the Father are ONE (Echad).
Friends, being a true follower of our Elohim means to be about doing His Work (Word) and not that of the world. Let’s recommit often in a day.
Again, paraphrasing YHshua, “May YHWH’s Will (Word) be done on earth (in us) as it is in heaven. Amein.
