Deuteronomy 10: 4-5

“4 And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the Lord (YHWH) spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the Lord (YHWH) gave them unto me. 5 And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as the Lord (YHWH) commanded me.”
Note that YHWH commands Moses to place the commandments within the ark, what follows is where the commandments are intended to reside. And so Moses brought the commandments (Word) of Elohim to Israel, placed them in the ark, which would carry them, and later housed them in the temple. No different to then, we are called to do the same now; carry the commandments (the Word) throughout the day and house them within our temples throughout the eve: There is where the commandments (the Word) are intended to reside. Amein, Amein.
