6 Blessed be the Lord (Word & Works of Elohim, YHWH), because he hath heard the voice of my supplications (prayer or meditation in Him).” Remembering that the name YHWH is what defines the Word and Works of Elohim – for how do we define a Father if not by His Word and Works. Here David is actually grateful to the Word and Works, indeed, Wisdom of Elohim, that which he meditates in day and night, that which he seeks and has answered (heard) his prayers or supplications. 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord (YHWH, the Word and Works of Elohim); and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
