Having taken some 3 months to arrive at the foot of a so called Mt. Sinai, YHWH (the name, Word and Works, of the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) appeared to Israel; the mountain now shrouded with thick smoke and loud thunder – that a fearful Israel would begin to open their hardened hearts: A calling back to the Father after 430 years of pagan assimilation in Egypt!
What would come next would prove etched in mankind’s eternal memory, that again a voice would call his children back to salvation: The Ten Commandments :) HalleluYH :)
Exodus 19:5
5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My “covenant” (‘amanah: something fixed, certain portion; the ten commandments), then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.” Amein, Amein!!!!
