Significance of the Name of the ‘Elohiym of Israel, YHWH:
(Taken in vain, replaced in scriptures ~7000 times, by the term lord)
YHWH (I AM WHAT I AM):
“According to the Hebrew Bible, in the encounter of the burning bush (Exodus 3:14) Moses asks what he is to say to the Israelites when they ask what ‘gods’ (‘Elohiym) have sent him to them, and YHWH replies, “I am who I am”, adding, “Say this to the people of Israel, ‘I am has sent me to you.’ ”
And so it was that Moses would come down to the people with more than a Name, in essence what ‘Elohiym was, is, or will be, “the I AM “, to those who hear and follow. In another transliteration, “I AM WHAT I WILL DO, or simply “I AM”, etc..”, when summarized further? the I AM breaking with the imagery of a pagan white bearded or mystical creature retaking its original practical intent, “the Word and Works of the heavenly ‘Elohiym!
Used as an emphatic statement, YHWH, becoming much more than a Name, denoting ‘Elohiym’s wisdom in action, an offering of salvation, the way, the truth, the life.
Fast forward to the Messianic era, the teaching of who we call ‘Jesus’ (YH’shua: YH’Saves), who along with several prophets of YH, also bore the Name of the principal in heaven. When defined further, YH’shua’s Name actually meaning, “the Word and Works of ‘Elohiym saves”, that our Messiah, our Pastor, our Leader taught. (See: John 14:12):
The summary? That we may each be one in YHWH, as YH’shua was one in same; and again, that salvation may be found in, “The Way, the Truth, the Life”.
May, “YHWH bless you and keep you! In YH’shua’s lead!” Numbers 6: 24-26.
