Psalm 33:4-5
How to know what was on the minds of the inspired ones?
See their words not those of another nation. See the Hebrew definitions !
In the passage above we learn the first of many important problems with ancient Greek translation. The use of words such as he, his, and lord above, conjure images of their Creator source not Israels’.
A white-bearded sky deity-image in place of the Hebrew ‘Elohiym: the heavenly Magistrates, the heavenly Government.
YHWH’s prophets warned Israel to not mix with the nations around them. If we are honest with ourselves and history we can connect these dots; todays’ excercise.
This the warning, “you shall not make an image of ‘Elohiym – etc..”, what the Prophets said.
Don’t miss other meanings below, then apply them and you will see, to say that ‘Elohiym is a white bearded or invisible creature is to agree with Israel’s periphery, the nations within Israel.
The lesson? In approaching the Bible with caution one does not need to learn Hebrew, the lexicons will help you solve that; just know the the Bible narrative can not fit a pagan narrative. Along with the Bible narrative, study the history and you will identify those things that don’t belong. And don’t be concerned, there are only about 10 Hebrew words that will make all the difference necessary, though in time you are sure to find others. Pay close attention to the pronouns below, especially: A voyage to the Prophets.
Paraphrasing ‘Jesus’ (YH’shua: YH saves, etc..), ” ‘Your will’ (YHWH ‘Elohiym’s word and works) be done ‘on earth’ (IN US) as it is in heaven.”
‘Amein’ (Amen: So be it, Truth, etc..)
