Word Time

2 Peter 1:5-8

New International Version (NIV)

“For this very reason, make every effort to add to your ‘faith’ [emuwnah: truth, set-office, etc..] goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, ‘godliness’ [‘elohiym: mighti(ness), great(ness), etc..]; and to ‘godliness’ [‘elohiym: mighti(ness), great(ness), etc..], mutual ‘affection’ [(love): ahab: affection, loved, like, etc..]; and to mutual ‘affection’ [(love): ahab: affection, loved, like, etc..], ‘love’ [racham: mercy, compassion, etc..]. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our ‘Lord’ [Sar: Master, Captain, etc..] ‘Jesus’ (ha-YH’Shua: the name, Word and Works, of Israel’s ‘Elohiym – that saves) ‘Christ’ [ha-Mashiyach YH’shua (YH’saves),  ‘YH’shua‘ (YH’saves) the-‘Messiah’ (the-Consecrated, etc..)].

Paraphrasing YH’shua, ” ‘Your will’ (YHWH ‘Elohiym’s Word and Works) be done ‘on earth’ (IN US) as it is in heaven.” Also see: (John 14:12).

‘Amein’ (Amen: So be it, Truth, etc..)

The significance of the Name of our ‘Elohiym.. (Replaced with Lord ~7000 times in scripture)

YH old to oldest YHWH (Yod Heh Waw Heh):

“I AM THAT I AM or WILL BE,” ETC.

“According to the Hebrew Bible, in the encounter of the burning bush (Exodus 3:14) Moses asks what he is to say to the Israelites when they ask what ‘gods or [god]’ (‘Elohiym) have sent him to them, and YHWH replies, “I am who I am”, adding, “Say this to the people of Israel, ‘I am has sent me to you.’ ”

The Name, misleadingly replaced with Lord, reveals ‘the spirit’ (ha-ruwach: the expression of, the mind of, etc..), the Bible’s ‘Elohiym!

YH old to oldest “I AM THAT I AM”…. Will You Be?
