Romans 15:13
New King James Version (NKJV)
“13 Now may ‘the God’ (ha- ‘Elohiym: the- Magistrates, the- Great- Ones, the- Mighty – Ones) of hope fill you with all joy and peace in ‘believing’ (aman: faith(fullness), sure(ness), etc..), that you may abound in hope by the power of the ‘Holy’ (Kodesh: Sacred, Consecrated, etc..) ‘Spirit’ (Ruwach: Breath, Expression, etc..).”
Strong’s Hebrew Lexicon:
G-d: 430 ‘elohiym el-o-heem’ plural of 433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God; occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes as a superlative:–angels, X exceeding, God (gods)(-dess, -ly), X (very) great [ones], judges, X mighty [ones].
Believe(ing): 540 ‘aman am-an’ (Aramaic) corresponding to 539:–believe, faithful, sure.
Holy: 6944 qodesh ko’-desh from 6942; a sacred place or thing; rarely abstract, sanctity:–consecrated (thing), dedicated (thing), hallowed (thing), holiness, (X most) holy (X day, portion, thing), saint, sanctuary.
Spirit: 7307 ruwach roo’-akh from 7306; wind; by resemblance breath, i.e. a sensible (or even violent) exhalation; figuratively, life, anger, unsubstantiality; by extension, a region of the sky; by resemblance spirit, but only of a rational being (including its expression and functions):–air, anger, blast, breath, X cool, courage, mind, X quarter, X side, spirit((-ual)), tempest, X vain, ((whirl-))wind(-y).
