*Semitic (less commonly), Shemitic

2. denoting, belonging to, or characteristic of any of the peoples speaking a Semitic language, esp the Jews or the Arabs
3. another word for Jewish
……………………………..
An appellation:
YHWH is Ineffable = “incapable of being expressed as a vowel sounding word “
But I believe YHWH can be expressed as a Hebrew string consonant sound just as Ms. is sounded as a no vowel sound Mzzz in English.
I say this because I now believe that YHWH is an appellation identifier name YaH that is a Hebrew non-vowel word.
STRING CONSONANTS
Words containing no vowels include Q.T. (as in “on the q.t.”), DJ, and RX, which MWCD10 classifies as words rather than abbreviations. (The reason apparently is that the letters are pronounced. Thus RV is an abbreviation when it stands for Revised Version, but it is a word when it means recreational vehicle.) A plural of RX is RXS, which has no vowels but three pronounced syllables. Other words having no vowels are BRRR, GRR, HMMMM, JHVH, MR., MRS., MS, NTH, PFFT, pH, PHPHT, PHT, PSST, SH, SHH, SSSHHHHH, TSK, TSKS, TSKTSK,TSKTSKS, TV, YHWH, ZZZ, HSH (hush, W3), ST (silence, quiet, W3), TCH (vexation or disgust, W3), TCK (surprise or displeasure), and TST (hissed sound enjoining silence, W3). PHFFFT! and SSSSSSS are titles of movies from 1954 and 1973. The OED has TPRW (the sound of a horn). GRRL is in the Macquarie Dictionary, with the alternate spelling GRRRL [Charles Turner].

The reason El Shaddai put the appellation YHWH sounded as YAH before El Shaddai was because once YAH EL SHADDAI brought Israel out of Egypt as His Firstborn Son they were to call him not just El/God or El/God Almighty/ Shaddai since the Canaanites called their pan El/god as their shaddai-power.
A search of Proto-Sinaitic inscriptions by I. Beit-Arieh, and B. Sass, has uncovered several inscriptions of the pan Canaanite name of God (El) in the Sinai dating between the 17th century BCE to the 15th century BCE.
When I was studying the ancient Hebrew word pictures also called pictographs, I then understood that in the Hebrew language to know a pictograph was to know the representative sounded word; therefore to know the appellation language unit YHWH pictograph is to know that language unit visually and also its verbally sounded word which concludes in a very personal knowing. To know the two letters Ms. as the appellation before the name Ms. Sally Doe; is to know its sound is Mzzz and that it is referring to the personal status of a woman. And so it is with the four letter pictograph name YHWH El Shaddai To know the pictograph, the visual pictograph name YHWH is to know it’s sound is YH breathed out as the sound Y(a)H that refers to YHWH. Elohim Shaddai becomes the ONE personal YHWH-Y(a)H Elohim Shaddai of Israel the Firstborn Son of YHWH-Y(a)H.
In the original text of the Hebrew Bible, the Hebrew letters for Yah (YH) occur 50 times – 26 times alone and 24 times in the term Hallelu’yah.
The O.T. Hebrew word “name” in Strong’s is # 8034 Shem; a primitive word [perhaps rather from 7760 through the idea of definite and conspicuous position; compare 8064]; AN APPELLATION, as A MARK or MEMORIAL OF INDIVIDUALITY; by implication honor, authority, character: – + base, [in-] fame[-ous], name[-d], renown, report.
ap·pel·la·tion noun \ˌa-pə-ˈlā-shən\
1. appellation – identifying word or words by which someone or something is called and classified or distinguished from others
2. name – a language unit by which a person or thing is known; “his name really is George Washington”; “those are two names for the same thing”
3. street name – an alternative name that a person chooses or is given (especially in inner city neighborhoods); “her street name is Bonbon”
4. byname, cognomen, moniker, nickname, sobriquet, soubriquet – a familiar name for a person (often a shortened version of a person’s given name); “Joe’s mother would not use his nickname and always called him Joseph”; “Henry’s nickname was Slim”
5. form of address, title of respect, title – an identifying appellation signifying status or function: e.g. `Mr.’ or `General’; “the professor didn’t like his friends to use his formal title”
6. title – an appellation signifying nobility; “`your majesty’ is the appropriate title to use in addressing a king”
………………………………..
An example of an appellation/name as a mark or label that identifies someone, such as a winegrower, named John Doe might have the appellation/name/mark/label of a deer standing in a vineyard on his wine bottle labels as his appellation. The appellation label of the deer standing in the meadow is associated with the name John Doe just as the appellation YHWH associates to Israel the name of Elohim Almighty = Exo 6:3 KJV) And I ( God Almighty) appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name YHWH was I ( YHWH) not known to them.
The question is why would Elohim Almighty make His memorial name YHWH a language unit for His already known title “God Almighty” because He wanted Israel His Firstborn Son to know HIM BY A PERSONAL NAME YHWH-YH. The Hebrew appellation language unit YHWH sounded as YaH was the memorial/appellation NAME as a four letter appellation prefix YHWH that would for ever distinguished YHWH God Almighty as the only YHWH God Almighty of Israel His Firstborn Son, who delivered Israel out of bondage from Egypt.
The appellation YHWH as a language unit by which a person or thing is known was not given, to the nation Israel by Elohim Almighty until AFTER Israel the Firstborn Son was delivered out of Egyptian bondage, out of the heathenism of Egypt.
This is significant and it should not be ignored that Elohim Almighty does not give His appellation name YHWH to Moses or the nation Israel until He is ready to give His written Hebrew BOOK to Israel His Firstborn Son; see Exo 24:12 and Exo 32:32-33.
YHWH was to be His written appellation name that He wrote before the creation of man that now would be seen and understood in Hebrew writing by the nation Israel and all mankind declaring YHWH God Almighty as the Father of Israel His Firstborn Son by reason of the spirit Son Mashach in Israel and Moses.
It should be mentioned that any usage of the appellation YHWH in scripture by the Hebrew writers of scripture prior to Exo 3:15 and Exo 6:3 is after the knowledge of Exo 3:15 and Exo 6:3.
An appellation language unit as a prefix does not of itself have to be a pronounceable word but as a prefix it will alter a word or name.
Ms. is not a vowel word but a spoken appellation title word of letters MS. that identifies an individual lady’s status. The appellation/name YHWH is not a pronounceable vowel word name but is a Hebrew four string consonant language unit identifying “YHWH ” God Almighty as the God and Father of Israel His Firstborn Son.
The four Hebrew letters YHWH are incapable of being pronounced as a vowel word, although YHWH is capable of being pronounced as a four letter string consonant sound that also can be known and written. YHWH is a non vowel word; but is a Semitic language preformative /appellation that alters the form of the words to which it is affixed. Just as the appellation “Ms.” attached to a name can only apply to a lady which thereby alters the name of a lady by revealing her specific status as a lady. The appellation YHWH can only be applied to the Elohim Almighty of the Hebrew Firstborn Son thereby declaring His individuality as the only YHWH Elohim Almighty of the Hebrew. The appellation language unit YHWH forever identifies Israel as the Firstborn Son of YHWH who forsakes all other man made gods for the ONE and ONLY YHWH Elohim Almighty.
The appellation language unit YHWH as Hebrew letters indicates that Hebrew is the first language of the First Adam Son of God earthly and that holy language of creation since Hebrew is the language of YHWH Spirit’s BOOK that He wrote Exo 24:12) . YHWH made all things and just as a preformative before a word alters the form of the word it precedes, so it was in the beginning when YHWH God Almighty made the earth and the heavens ( Gen 2:4) by speaking them into existence. The appellation name YHWH before any word alters that word forever.
The fact that ” Gen 1:3 ĕlôhı̂ym-YHWH- ‘âmar ” is the Almighty power that alters all words of creation from being just mere words and commandments of men to the words of YHWH God Almighty the Father of spirits.
We should remember that when Gen 1:3 says ” Elohim said ” it was already known in the mind of Elohim Almighty what His name for ever was YHWH Elohim Almighty and this before Moses and Israel the Firstborn Son knew Elohim Almighty as YHWH .
Yehoshua Mashiach said he spoke the words of his Father and said his words are spirit and life ( John 6:63 ). Yehoshua Mashiach spoke Herbrew in heaven and whats in heaven can only be the Holy language. (Acts 26:14 KJV) And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
…………………..
Jacob/Israel was the second born twin son of Isaac, who was born after the Spirit the promise/dabar , but Jacob is renamed Israel and Israel later becomes the nation Israel and called by YHWH as His Firstborn Son…This bears repeating since repetition is the mother of all learning. The second born son Jacob/Israel had 12 sons in his loins who later would as a nation become the Firstborn Son of YHWH.
Exo 4:22 KJV) And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith YHWH Elohim, Israel is my Son, even my firstborn:
(Gal 4:28 KJV) Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise/dabar.
Gal 4:29 KJV) But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit/promise/dabar, even so it is now.
……………….
The Hebrew letters YHWH that are the appellation language unit name of Elohim Almighty only needed to be written and seen; it does not need to be pronounced as a
vowel word in order to be known.
A Semitic preformative is comprised of letters that are not a pronounceable word yet it is known to have the power to ALTER pronounceable words such as ” do ” can become altered as “redo ” meaning do again when the preformative ” re ” is affixed before the word ” do ” and such is the preformative language unit YHWH before the Hebrew word name YHWH God Almighty that we find in the song of Moses and in the song of the Lamb ( Rev 15:3 KJV) And they sing the song of Moses the servant of Elohim, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, YHWH Elohim Almighty; just and true are thy ( YHWH Elohim Almighty’s) ways, thou ( YHWH Elohim Almighty ) King of saints.
In Rev 15:3 we get a clear view of the true meaning for YHWH God Almighty (Rev 15:3 KJV) And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, YHWH Elohim God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
The altogether name “YHWH God Almighty” is mentioned 5 times in scripture and only found in Revelation the last book of YHWH God’s Hebrew BOOK. In the last book of YHWH God’s BOOK we see His name as YHWH ELOHIM SHADDIA revealed 5 times which is the numerological number for grace the altogether fullness of the name YHWH Elohim Almighty.
……………
Somewhere between AD 600-1000, the Masoretic scribes invented a vowel pointing system for the consonantal Hebrew text resulting in the inaccurately transliterated name “Jehovah” among other infelicities.
I do not think the vowels added by the Masoretes are a part of the dabar/book of YHWH the all knowing YHWH God Almighty; therefore the four letters as string consonants do not make a vowel pronounceable Hebrew word but YHWH is the preformative that alters the form of words it is affixed as I explained earlier.
I do not think that YHWH can be pronounced as a word since it is not a word but rather a four letter string of consonants that were given by God Almighty so as not to be pronounced as a Hebrew word but that could be written and seen and understood for what it meant. I think the problem occurs when men try to make the four letter string consonant pronounceable as a word by adding vowels to YHWH that never were intended for the four letter string consonant.
………….
An additional thought regarding the four letter string consonant YHWH. Although YHWH cannot be pronounced as a Hebrew word. The four letter string consonant YHWH can be sounded audibly in a oral conversation and that sound will be understood as to its meaning but because you can sound in speech a Hebrew four letter string consonant does not make it a Hebrew word and just as the letters kpss in English can be spoken or sounded in conversation would not make it a valid English dictionary word..
Such as with something prefixed, as a title before a person’s name: She used the prefix “Ms.” rather than “Lady” at the law office where she worked. Every one knows Ms. means lady.
We see the same with these words prefixed with the letter ” i ” iPhone, iPod, and iTunes.
e-commerce, and e-business these abbreviated forms are not traditional prefixes, but because they are indeed attached to the front of what amounts to root words, they could be considered functional prefixes. And so it is with YHWH it changes the meaning of the roots words Elohim Shaddai to YaH Elohim Shaddai and every Hebrew knew when they saw that appellation pictograph or heard the sound YH sounded as YaH they knew it was their Yah El Shaddai not the Canaanites pan that they called El Shaddai.
PART 2 ………………………
TO THE MODERATOR:
THE TWO STUDIES I POSTED BY NO MEANS ARE COMPLETED, BUT IT IS AS FAR AS THEY CAN GO WITH MY LIMITED KNOWLEDGE OF THE WORD OF YHWH/YaH.
UNITY OF THE SPIRIT
(Eph 4:3 KJV) Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
HOW TO KEEP THE UNITY OF THE SPIRIT IN THE BOND ( uniting principle ) OF PEACE
(Eph 4:4 KJV) There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.
(Eph 4:5 KJV) One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
(Eph 4:6 KJV) One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
UNITY OF THE SPIRIT ALWAYS INVOLVES KEEPING ONE AND ONLY ONE
Unity of the Spirit ONLY requires KEEPING one body, one spirit, one hope, one master, one faith , one baptism, One God and Father of all who is above ALL and through all and in you all.
As we can read, there is no mention of the unity of the Spirit requiring the keeping of two or three spirits, two or three masters, two or three baptisms, two or three faiths, two or three hopes, two or three God’s with three different names such as Jesus , Holy Spirit, and Father; because Eph 4:6 states there is one God and father of us all.
Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit would require that we keep ONE GOD as the Father of us all. There is no mention of keeping three God’s that are One God the father of us all.
(Zec 14:9 KJV) And YHWH shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be ONE YHWH, and His name one.
HIS NAME ONE refers to the fact that there will be no other name for the God and father of all other than YHWH pronounced as YaH.
AND HIS NAME “ONE” LEAVES NO ROOM FOR THE THREE NAMES OF A TRINITY.
(Mark 12:29 KJV) And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; YHWH our Elohim is one YHWH:
His NAME ONE YHWH pronounced as YaH leaves no room for names such as BlessedTrinity.
Our Elohim-God YaH is Holy and Holy is His name YHWH-YaH. We can read in 1 Peter 1:16 that God describes Himself as being holy and then commands us to be holy; but our being holy does not make us to be God, because Holy is not a name but a descriptive attribute that describes the character of God and his people. (1 Pet 1:16 KJV) Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
(1 Pet 2:9 KJV) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an HOLY NATION, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
MARY SAID HIS NAME IS HOLY
(Luke 1:46 KJV) And Mary said, My soul doth magnify YHWH-YaH,
(Luke 1:49 KJV) For he (God) that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy his name ( YHWH-YaH ) .
THE WORDS OF YHWH-YaH to Pharaoh of Egypt and the reason Pharaoh even existed.
(Exo 9:16 KJV) And in very deed for this cause have I ( YHWH-YaH) raised thee ( Pharaoh) up, for to show in thee ( Pharaoh) my power; and that my name ( YHWH-YaH) may be declared throughout all the earth.
(Exo 9:17 KJV) As yet exaltest thou thyself against my people, that thou wilt not let them go?
(Psa 68:4 KJV) Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name YaH, and rejoice before him.
GOD AND FATHER ARE RESPECTFUL TITLES
In Eph 4:6 God and Father are not names rather they are respectful titles; therefore endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond ( uniting principle) of peace requires knowing the one name of God the Father who is above ALL.
ANSWER A SIMPLE QUESTION WITH A SIMPLE ANSWER
A simple conclusion, if someone asks you what is your fathers name? You would not answer father and the same holds true if someone asks you the name of your God and father; you would not reply back God and father but rather scripture teaches us His name is YHWH pronounced as YaH and His name is Holy.
It is in Zec 14:9 we read of One name of our God and Father. The keeping of the unity of the Spirit in the bond ( uniting principle ) of peace is knowing YHWH is the name of our One God and Father.
HEBREW SHEMA
Deut 6:4 is the Jewish Shema and it is said twice daily by the Hebrew, once in the morning and again at sunset. Jesus as a Hebrew said Shema twice a day . (Mark 12:28 KJV) And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked Jesus, Which is the first commandment of all? (Mark 12:29 KJV) And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; YHWH-YaH our Elohim is one YHWH-YaH:
(Mark 12:30 KJV) And thou shalt love YHWH-YaH thy God-Elohim with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
HEBREW GENTILE DOCTRINE
No Hebrew/Gentile doctrine is ever going to keep the unity of one Spirit in the bond of peace if it denies Hebrew Shema Deut 6:4.
I believe trinity is the reason why Israel has not been moved to jealousy since no Hebrew will ever confess trinity because Deut 6:4 is taught them from the earliest of age ” Hear, O Israel: YHWH our ( Israel’s) Elohim is ONE YHWH:
(Rom 11:11 KJV) I say then, Have they (Israel) stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them (Israel) to jealousy.
The Gentile churches deny (Deut 6:4 KJV) Hear, O Israel: YHWH-YaH our God-Elohim is one YHWH-YaH:
GOD IS A SPIRIT AND YOU CAN ONLY WORSHIP HIM IN THE UNITY OF ONE SPIRIT AND TRUTH THAT HIS ONE NAME IS YHWH-YaH.
NO “J” IN HEBREW
There is no “J” in Hebrew. See the study in this blog regarding I AM THAT I AM it is not the one name YHWH / Y(a)H”
(Psa 68:4 KJV) Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name YAH, and rejoice before him.
(Psa 47:7 KJV) For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
We understand from scripture that God’s name is YHWH pronounced as YaH.
His one name YaH is pronounced ONLY ONCE in scripture purposely as His way of authenticating that His one name is YaH.
(Zec 14:9 KJV) And YHWH shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be ONE YHWH, and His name one.
God the King of all the earth can only be called YHWH – pronounced as YaH .
(Exo 9:16 KJV) And in very deed for this cause have I ( YHWH-YaH) raised thee ( Pharaoh) up, for to show in thee ( Pharaoh ) my power; and that my name ( YHWH-YaH) may be declared throughout all the earth.
